Accounting Clerk (Accounts Receivable)

Position Overview:

The objective of this position is to provide clerical support services to our accounting department. Primary responsibilities will include data entry and processing accounts receivables. Support varies based on the department’s needs and requirements and can span all areas relating to the company’s financial activities

Possible Responsibilities Include:

• Process and verify applications for credit
• Solicit payment on overdue accounts
• Maintain customer database
• Generate invoices in MRP/ERP system
• Maintain records of delinquent accounts and credit risks
• Assist with month-end closing, job records, and reports
• Data entry
• Provides support services to CFO and A/P clerk as needed

• Strong appreciation for following up

Required Experience:

• High School degree preferred
• 2+ years’ accounts receivable experience
• 2+ years’ computer experience in a business environment
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• MRP/ERP system experience is a plus
