Applied Energy Systems’ ARM Purification Division Announces Debut of Two Bulk Gas Purifiers

Advantage™ APS80 series N2 purifier & APS60 series dual vessel H2 purifier are newly designed

MALVERN, PA, February 16, 2023 — Applied Energy Systems (AES), the leading provider of high and ultra high purity gas systems, services, and solutions announces that its ARM Purification division has re-introduced two purifiers: the APS80 series N2 purifier and the APS60 series dual vessel H2 purifier.

These two purifiers are part of the redesigned Advantage™ Bulk Series, which meet specific requirements with a modular, configurable design across the following technologies for flows up to 200 Nm3/HR:

• APS60 – Getter Technology
• APS70 – Heated Catalyst/Adsorber
• APS80 – Reactive Catalyst
• APS90 – Adsorber Technology

Advantage™ Bulk Series solutions provide sub-PPB level product to our bulk gas customers.  Designed to lower the cost of ownership by using common designs across the various platforms, ARM Purification’s bulk purifiers can be paired with specific brands of hardware that are compatible with preexisting assets, allowing for customization through a modular design.

The new purifiers have an updated look and design that align with the ARM Purification brand. Key benefits of utilizing one of ARM Purification’s bulk gas purifiers include:

• Flow Rate Versatility – Allows for flow rates up to 200 nm3/hr, across platforms, in a modular, gas cabinet style approach. Larger options are available up to 5,000 Nm3/hr in different configurations, and would be more traditional skid mounted systems.
• Quality Materials & Controls – Utilizes 316L stainless ultra high purity construction in a powder coated steel enclosure.
• Optimized Design – Provides fully integrated PLC control and touchscreen HMI, with ethernet connectivity as a standard option.
• Customized Solutions – Offers common enclosure sizes for protected area installations, and outdoor enclosures for unprotected area installations.
• Flexible Power Options – Integrates with a number of power input options: 100-120 VAC, 220-240 VAC, 50/60Hz.
