ARM Purification Division Updates Bulk Purifier Design in the First Bulk Purifier Produced at AES’ Malvern Headquarters

Traditional Bulk Purifier Skid Frame & Cabinet Updated to More Compact SEMI-GAS® Cabinet Style

MALVERN, PA, April 13, 2021 — Applied Energy Systems (AES), provider of high and ultra high purity gas systems, services, and solutions—including design, manufacturing, testing, installation, and expert field services—announced the completion of the first Bulk purifier produced in Malvern, PA since relocating the manufacturing segment of its ARM Purification division from Colorado Springs, CO to its corporate headquarters earlier this year.

“We are excited to have completed our first major purification system project since centralizing manufacturing in our Malvern facility,” said Steve Buerkel, President of Applied Energy Systems. “The Bulk purifier, which is housed in a new cabinet design similar to our SEMI-GAS® cabinets, marks the continued alignment of our ARM Purification equipment with our gas delivery product lines.”

The completed Bulk purifier has been re-packaged from the old skid frame and cabinet into a style of cabinet similar to its SEMI-GAS® line of ultra high purity gas delivery equipment. The purifier is equipped to handle large gas flow rates ranging up to 200nm³/hr.

The ARM Purification team developed the new Bulk purifier for a client that has high volume gas delivery requirements. The system is scheduled to be installed in the client’s facility by the end of May. After undergoing an initial qualification process, the Bulk purifier will be utilized regularly by the client to purify gases, ensuring contaminates are removed and process integrity is upheld.
